Building emotional intelligence

Emotional Intelligence is fast becoming the no 1 trait in leadership success. People with high levels of emotional intelligence are proven to be top performers, the best leaders, able to stay healthy and resilient in the face of setbacks and navigate tricky relationships and influence more effectively. So what is emotional intelligence really? How do I know if I have it or not and most importantly how do I develop it?

This half day workshop takes you through the why, what and how of emotional intelligence, leaving you with simple tools to apply in the workplace and every day life.

The emotional intelligent workshop module will cover:

  • Exercises to help you understand the difference between thought, feeling and emotion

  • How to build self awareness and self management of thought and emotion

  • How to navigate the thoughts and emotions of others (the things not being said)

  • A group assessment on an individuals preferences for leading with thought vs feeling
